Hand-Grained Walnut & Teak Realism
Artisanal brush, badger hair, and comb dragging techniques that replicate authentic heartwood grain, knots, and quarter-sawn ray fleck with convincing realism.

Palm Beach & Broward Counties
Artisanal hand-grained Walnut, Teak, and Mahogany finishes for metal garage doors and exterior architectural surfaces with marine-grade UV protection.
01 / Why Elevated Finishes
Artisanal brush, badger hair, and comb dragging techniques that replicate authentic heartwood grain, knots, and quarter-sawn ray fleck with convincing realism.
Topped with multiple coats of industrial marine-grade clear polyurethane containing advanced hindered-amine light stabilizers (HALS) that resist South Florida UV yellowing and fading.
High-adhesion direct-to-metal (DTM) epoxy primers chemically bond to factory-baked enamel, preventing blistering, peeling, or salt-air oxidation.
Achieve the unmistakable luxury of solid mahogany or teak garage doors without the excessive weight, warping, rot, or hurricane shutter compatibility issues.

02 / Faux Grain Capabilities
Every garage door and architectural metal surface requires tailored basecoat toning and glaze layering. We match existing wood species, coordinate with exterior stonework, and engineer the finish for lasting coastal durability.
View substrate standards ↘Transforming standard factory-painted stamped steel or aluminum garage doors into bespoke architectural Mahogany, Walnut, or Teak statement pieces.
Hand-graining fiberglass, steel, and aluminum front entry doors, transom frames, and lintels to perfectly complement surrounding architectural finishes.
Applying rich, weather-resistant faux wood finishes to outdoor metal estate gates, privacy screens, and garden pergolas exposed to coastal elements.
03 / Craft Standards
Exterior faux finishes succeed or fail on the strength of their adhesion and clear coats. We never apply faux glazes over un-etched factory enamel or compromise on UV inhibitors.
See our process ↘Factory paint is mechanically de-glossed with ultra-fine abrasive pads, decontaminated with chemical cleaners, and primed with high-tack bonding primer.
Three distinct translucent glaze layers are applied by hand: base grain, heartwood character, and color toner, building rich optical depth.
Two flood coats of exterior non-yellowing satin or gloss urethane seal the grain against UV degradation, coastal moisture, and road heat.

04 / Our Process
We pressure-clean, degrease, mechanically scuff the door surface, mask weatherstripping, and spray a direct-to-metal bonding primer.
We spray an industrial acrylic basecoat matched to the underlying natural grain color of the selected wood species (Teak, Walnut, or Mahogany).
Using specialty wood-graining tools, natural sponges, and badger blending brushes, we hand-drag rich translucent heartwood glazes across each panel.
We apply multiple coats of UV-blocking clear polyurethane in satin or gloss sheen to protect the artistry against sun and salt air for years.

Start your project brief ↗With our marine-grade UV-blocking clear topcoats, our faux wood finishes maintain their color depth and rich luster for 7 to 10+ years without peeling or fading. We recommend an inspection and clear-coat rejuvenation pass every 4 to 6 years depending on direct afternoon sun exposure.
Yes. During our initial consultation, we inspect your existing wood elements, take reference photos under direct natural lighting, and create custom color samples so the garage doors harmonize naturally with your entry door, shutters, or architectural trim.
No. Peeling occurs when painters apply latex paint over factory-baked enamel without proper preparation. We mechanically scuff the factory finish and apply an industrial direct-to-metal (DTM) epoxy bonding primer that creates a permanent chemical grip.
We commonly reproduce American Black Walnut, Burmese Teak, Honduran Mahogany, White Oak, and Natural Cypress. We can customize both the undertone warmth and the intensity of the grain figure to match your home's aesthetic.
No. The entire process is completed on-site with the door in place. We mask the tracks, weather seals, and surrounding stucco, structure our schedule around your garage access needs, and ensure the door remains operational each evening.
Maintenance is simple. Wash the doors periodically with clean water and a mild car-wash soap using a soft microfiber mitt, then rinse thoroughly. Avoid pressure washing at close range or harsh chemical detergents.
